I provide research and software development services on natural language processing and artificial intelligence.

I analyze, design and develop language processing solutions based on the integration and customization of existing systems to quickly address the needs of my clients at an affordable cost. I work with open-source, proprietary and hybrid systems, being able to effectively deliver solutions that balance my clients' needs and priorities - be it time to market,  cost, interoperability or avoiding vendor lock-in.

I have over nine years of experience in the development of intelligent software, and I have deep knowledge of some of the main frameworks and toolkits on machine learning and NLP, such as UIMA, GATE, Weka, Mallet and OpenNLP Tools. I am comfortable in implementing from scratch most AI and ML  algorithms if needed. Java is my main language, and I have working knowledge of C/C++ and Python.

I prefer to work from my home offices in Belo Horizonte/MG/Brazil and Porto Alegre/RS/Brazil. I am happy to work at my clients’ sites as needed. I work both on an hourly basis and on fixed rate contracts.
